I applied through other source. I interviewed at Elev8 Management Group
Interview
This company contacted me via email with a generic email template, trying to convince me I had applied for their door to door sales position and they would like to setup an interview. I replied I had not applied, but please send more details.
A month later and still no reply, I receive a phone call from the same lady telling me again that I applied. I stated I hadn't and she tried to move the conversation along by asking "am I looking for full time or part time work?".
Very bizarre experience and terrible sourcing/recruitment strategy. I would advise better training for how to source (especially non-job seekers that haven't applied), starting with not seeking out mid-senior level management that did not apply, for a door to door sales job.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Elev8 Management Group (Cleveland, OH) in Oct 2019
Interview
I submitted my application, there was a phone interview and then an in person one on one interview. The Hiring Manager was very knowledgable, informative and professional. It seemed like a good company to work for.

Question 1
If I could see myself acquiring my insurance license.
Hey! So it seems as if you have mixed our company with maybe another. We do not work with any types of insurance. We focus on smart technology and sustainability! Good luck on your future interviews and your job search!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Elev8 Management Group (Middleburg, OH) in Sep 2019
Interview
Started with a phone call that talked about the position. They told me about how they are looking to open another branch here soon. I came in for an interview a few days later. Greeted by the nicest receptionist. We talked about Yoga, pets and the outdoors.
The Manager came out after a few minutes and me and one other person went back for a small group interview. He asked us about us, what we are looking for and about our interests. What i thought was really nice he told us about him and how he was born in Kentucky (no accent though). Then the next 40 minutes he talked about the growth, about the clean energy client, hours pay and talked about the potential growth. It was nice to get everything done on the spot, most of the time i have gone for interviews they seem quick and i always leave with a lot of questions. This guy answered 90 percent of my questions by the end!
The nice thing was the ability to meet others in the office and get to know everyone before you make decision was something i have never seen before. I enjoyed my interview unfortunately i couldn't accept due to the fact i am only able to work 1 day a week.
