The process itself was fine and I was very excited for the role. I had a great feeling throughout - and was confident I'd be getting an offer (I was told I was the primary candidate and would be extended an offer after my last round). I conducted my standard follow ups and thank you's and patiently waited to hear back. --- SILENCE--- for days, then a week, then another week until finally someone responded to my follow ups and apologized that they went with another candidate. I'm ok with not getting the job, clearly I was the # 2 candidate at that point and they were waiting to see if their new hire would report on day 1. That said- stringing someone along without any feedback is poor form. Glad I dodged the bullet.
