I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eckroth Planning Group (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
The interview and interview process were very casual and not stressful. I was able to talk with the senior level management as well as the employees about my goals and how they matched EPG's goals. At the time, there was a lot of change in the company so they were excited to have a new addition to the company in the midst of everything else.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Eckroth Planning Group (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Had a few informal phone calls from the firm's owner. This was followed by a formal one on one interview. We had a fairly long interview, including discussion some other employees from my former company that had already come to this firm. The interview was very cordial, possibly easier as I had worked with the firm's owner before.
