Disposable employees... „Interview“ is more like a casual meeting, only got asked to introduce myself. You work like a contractor for the duration of a project agreement with one of their clients. It remained unclear to me what my employment status would be afterwards. „Permanent contract“ but you‘d have to reapply for one of their other project positions after completion, possibly in a completely different country… The vacancy stated „a negotiable salary based on candidate profile”. In reality salaries are strictly defined by the sales prices of client contracts. They don’t state this salary band in the vacancy because it is so embarrassingly low, at least €20k lower than average market rate for equivalent positions. During the interviews they give you the impression that conditions of the contract are negotiable, but in the end they push a “take it or leave it” approach. No alternative compensations, no consideration of personal needs/employee well-being, no individual benefits, because it wouldn’t be “fair to the other employees”. Well… difference between equality and equity… Lastly, very personal judgements were uttered by senior management about current employees (by name)… Red flags to me.
