While we strive to conduct all interviews with professionalism and transparency, we also have a responsibility to assess role fit—especially for marketing-related positions where demonstrating strategic thinking and results is key.
We understand NDAs can limit what candidates are able to share. Unfortunately, without the ability to share any details—even in a generalized or anonymized way—it becomes difficult for us to fairly and effectively assess experience, contribution, and fit for the position.
There might be appropriate ways to discuss work experience without breaching confidentiality—such as referring to industry type (e.g., FMCG, tech), non-identifiable campaign objectives, strategies used, or general performance outcomes (e.g., “improved revenue by 40%”). Many candidates successfully convey their impact using anonymized summaries.
