      Systems Administrator Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dynamic Ratings (Sussex, WI)

      Interview

First it started with a phone interview with the HR person. Asked about all sorts of things regarding what was on my resume and what my current job entails. HR talked about the company a little bit about what they do for their customers. Said they'll follow up with an email. Received an email that day or the next day asking to apply online where there was a test (personality, I think). An email or two later from them and we set up a time and date for the in-person interview. Came in and met with current IT staff along with their IT consultant. The interview was them basically going through my resume line by line and asking questions about it and any related experiences. Also discussed their needs and my experience with what was required. I was then introduced to the General Manager where he gave me a tour of the building and we talked about my current company and the benefits of working at Dynamic Ratings. The phone interview took about 30-45 minutes. The in-person interview took around an hour and a half if I remember correctly. Everyone I met with was nice and polite. The tour of the company was impressive. The shop was incredibly clean and organized. The office was your typical half-wall cubicles with some actual offices that was segmented in different areas defining the different job roles. About a week or so later I was notified that they went with someone else and thanked me for considering working there. Again I want to stress that everyone that I met with was polite and professional. I would consider applying for a job there in the future.
