      Sales/User Ops Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Interview process was very quick - overall took about 3 weeks from start to end. There are three rounds: a sort of application with scenarios that you have to address, a phone interview, and in-person interviews at the Dropbox HQ. I made it to the final round but did not get an offer. Lots of technical questions both in the phone interview and in-person. Definitely know your stuff on user operations.

      Question 1

What would you do if someone on the team was repeatedly not make their sales quota?

      Interview

The interview was pleasant, I thought it went well. We were getting along but then I wasn't chosen to move on. Not exactly sure what went wrong. During the first interview, I was asked to explain a recent project, no guidelines besides that. A friend also interviewed and was given a different task to plan a made up project. I felt that this was unfair as it allowed for more thoughtfulness to be displayed through this type of question. He moved on to the next round.

      Nothing really too difficult.
