Filled out the application online. A few days later I was called in for a face to face interview. Interview as very laid back and easy. Discussed job details and my schedule availability
Short and simple, wanted to know my skills and interests. Asked me about my availability. Didn't take too long, probably the easiest interview I've had. Easy even for those without work experience.

This job is mainly restocking with a little bit of cashier work, are you comfortable with that?
The interview process at Dollar General was very simple. The hiring manager asked basic questions such as background in retail, challenges experienced in previous positions and overall weaknesses. The process was not difficult at all.
