I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dillard's (Columbia, MO) in Oct 2021
Interview
Very professional and to the point. I’ve interviewed 3 separate times. The Store manager has been great. They’ve recruited me every time which I like because it means they’re not just hiring anyone to work for them.

Question 1
How ready are you to transition to Dillards from 0 to 100%?
Very unorganized, no one knew what the other managers were doing. Norma the shoe manger was a nasty person and doesn’t like caucasians. Very back stabbing & they treat sales associates like trash.
I was heavily recruited. It was a smooth process. It consisted of 2 interviews. It was consistent with other retailers. The questions were answered and it was inviting . That’s all I have to say about my experience at Dillards
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dillard's (Wichita Falls, TX)
Interview
After introductions and light conversation you are asked about your work experience, customer service skills, personality traits, et cetera. Many of the hiring managers keep the interview process light and easy going.
