I applied online. I interviewed at Deloitte (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
I was invited to a screening call, and told that the feedback from the screening call would be passed on to the Hiring Manager. I'm not convinced that this is true, however, as I know someone who works at Deloitte who told me that Hiring Managers have no control over the initial screening process.
The screening call itself was an odd experience: the interviewer didn't engage in any niceties and seemed disinterested in the role, just going through the motions. Essentially, this was a very impersonal and cold experience and it has put me off applying for any other roles at Deloitte.

Question 1
Describe your key strengths or skills that are most relevant to the position
The process took a very long time (several months) and seemed to indicate challenges with internal communication/coordination. After a fairly straightforward recruiting interview, didn’t hear back one way or the other. Conflicting information sent via email before being ghosted.
Felt valued and respected throughout the interview process. Onboarding could have been better though as often, the precedence was given to candidate accepting the offer and joining on a given date versus respecting commitments already given to existing employer.
