      Senior Client Partner Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Decision Inc. (Midrand) in Feb 2025

      Interview

Decision Inc took me through a 3 month long interview process where I was very honest with them on my expectations. They knew exactly what I want and chose me as a the ideal candidate. I even did a presentation for them which they liked. Throughout the process everything went smoothly and feedback was good within the first month of the their interview process. When it was time for an offer to be shared they then came back and said that they had to wait for financial year end as my budget was a bit high considering the current year budgets that have been set so they need to look at hiring me in the new FY. I agreed without issue and kept myself in the loop by reaching out monthly and updating them from my end. When they’re financial year ended I reached out once more and requested an update on the offer only to be told then that they had changed their internal strategy and rather looked at hiring a more junior resource. This is after 3 months of allowing myself to invest energy and preparing myself for the change as changing organisations is not small thing. It’s aligning yourself preparing yourself mentally. So I personally found their interview process not transparent and misleading towards candidates.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me for my expectations and I gave them the full picture and shared documents to justify what I had asked for.
