ok, no pressure at all, just relax and try to answer the interview questions as much as you can. It was online and I should describe myself very well. I also mention my work experience in Australia
I applied through university. I interviewed at DataScience.com
Interview
I applied online. I was to give a Mathematical assessment(most of them are statistics based) and then after a programming assessment which was like HackerRank and questions were Medium to Hard.I was contacted by 2 people for an interview on bluejeans where they went over my resume, experience, projects and interviewed on Machine Learning and Statistics. Everything went well and they gave me an offer for an internship which was contingent upon learning Scala in 3 weeks after which an interview was taken and since I couldn't reach their expectations in Scala they took back the offer. One among the interviewers was nice and calm encouraging me to answer the questions and the other was not so well. He was concentrating more on statistics and throughout the interview gives an opinion as if I didn't know anything.

t-test, ML questions and DS and algorithm questions in the programming assessment
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DataScience.com (Culver City, CA)
Interview
Overall good experience aside from the fact that the coding exercise was super involved.
A phone interview that went well followed by a coding exercise then an on-site with the team. which involved a presentation as well as a bit of grilling about the coding exercise.
I'm not sure why exactly the offer wasn't extended but if I had to guess they are underpaying and are looking for cheap talent. We were negotiating a salary and I was firm about the current salary conditions in the market, but they backed out and said that not everyone was on the same page internally about me joining. Lol why even bother negotiating a salary then?
Oh well. They really do seem to be building some really cool software but the scary part is that they've been in business for quite some time and they still haven't made any profit and haven't defined the goals of the organization.
