It was an unsolicited application with an interview afterward. The interview lasted for half an hour in a relaxed vibe and setting. It was mostly a get to know each other interview.

Possibly a fishing lure to get job seekers in the USA to obtain capital for the company by sending them a check for pre-compensation of purchase of company equipment & tools. The check they send is good & the company does exist in Denmark. Problem is the hiring process includes you issuing payments through Zelle from the money you deposited. They also want Apple Gift cars by the thousands of dollars for software and tools. Perhaps once they have actually established valid North American office operations, the attempt to use job seekers to physically assist them with money transactions will cease.
