I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2012
Interview
I was caught off guard because I have been in the work force for 15 years now and was not expecting such a dry, pre-scripted interview. I have not had an interview like that since I graduated college. The questions were the typical "Tell me about a time you had to overcome a challenge" or "Tell me about a goal that you set and what you did to reach that goal" etc, etc. My advice if you have an interview is to have answers ready for the stereotypical interview questions. Also, you may get interviewed by somebody who has never done the job before and couldn't do the job if they had too. This is the person making judgement on you!
First impressions have been great. however today is only my first day on the job. i will be sure to update this in the future. thus far they have taken care of travel expenses, hotel, and even reimbursing for lunch everyday during training
The interview process was smooth and straightforward. I was given a great understanding of the position and the daily duties it would entail. I was also given a comprehensive breakdown of the promotion possibilities and compensation.

It was a virtual interview that lasted 15 mins. The hiring manager was very friendly and personable. The interview was short and to the point, and focused on questions from past experiences and reacting to certain situations.
