I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Currys (London, England) in Sep 2018
Interview
Initially had to take an online test after applying. Followed by a phone interview after a few days. The interviewer on the phone was very professional and helpful.
Was then invited for an interview at the store a week after the phone interview. Initially was asked some questions by the store manager and was asked questioned about availability and flexibility. Interview was pretty hard and as I've read from a previous review, if the store manager is good you are lucky. The worst part was they didn't even inform me about any decision after the interview for 10 days and counting.
Didn't expect such a huge firm to operate in such a way and was left hanging till I had to contact hr again.
I was asked general questions about my work experience, communication skills, and availability. After I had to demonstrate my sales skills by pretending to sell a TV to the person interviewing me. The process wasn't too difficult and the interview was very relaxed.
First initial phone call, standard interview where they asked questions on motivations
then second interview role-playing of a selling of a television, then once again motivational questions asked again but it was easier
Interview was not too difficult, mainly behavior questions. They might give you a scenario and you have to tell them what you would in that scenario and rank your actions.
