      Project Coordinator Interview

      Nov 17, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Crowd Street

      Interview

A recruiter contacted me, the first email stated phone interview availability. I submitted my availability and she came back with a different email showing a date and time requesting I come to the offices in person, which seemed a bit strange but I followed the instructions and did such. I went to the office building for the scheduled time and notified the recruiter I was there. She promptly called me apologizing for the mix up and stated she was unsure how I received the in person interview calendar appointment as they were conducting interviews virtually. She PROMISED to reschedule the interview and sent an email asking for me to submit my availability again. I immediately resubmitted my time as well as replied to her message. A couple days went by which were my requested available dates, no response, no answer. On the second day I emailed the recruiter again asking if I should resubmit new time since I was still interested in having the interview. Again, no response. A couple days later, I received the automatic rejection reply saying they found more qualified candidates. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism in the many times I applied for and arranged interviews for job prospects. The recruiter of this company had ghosted me. I try not to waste anyone's time, please don't waste mine with these games.

      Project Coordinator Interview

      Jan 10, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Portland, OR
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Crowd Street (Portland, OR) in Dec 2020

      Interview

      1. Phone Screen 2. Interview with team manager 3. Meet the team 4. Interview with VP of Department - I submitted my resume & cover letter and heard back in about 24 hours. The recruiter was fairly prompt in responding to my questions and scheduled the phone screening (~20 mins). The phone screen itself was quick and felt more like a conversation. After the phone screen (EOD of the same day), I was sent a request for a second interview with one of the managers. - The second interview (which happened a couple of days later) was pretty straightforward as well, with behavioral and experience-based questions. The manager was easy to talk to and friendly. They got back to me by EOD with their decision to move me on to the next step (Meet the Team interview). - I was scheduled for two separate interviews with four of the other PMs (two PMs for each interview). The first set of two was more formal with behavioral and experience-based questions while the other was a more informal/conversational interview (I assume this will all vary depending on the team you're interviewing for). - Heard back a few days after Christmas/New Years and ended up scheduling the final interview with the VP of the department on the same day. The VP was very easy to connect with, and just had one or two questions about myself, with the rest being an informal conversation. - Next day, the manager I had the second interview with called me and offered me the position.
