Cross River Bank interview questions

Dishonest recruiting process — Written offer rescinded with no explanation — cost me another competing offer. I completed the full interview process and received a written offer letter from Cross River. During the offer review period, my recruiter Jordan repeatedly stalled with vague timelines and non-committal answers. Trusting the process and the written offer in hand, I declined another competing offer I had at the time. Shortly after, Jordan rescinded the offer with no concrete reason given — no explanation of whether it was a budget freeze, headcount change, or anything else. Just a vague non-answer after weeks of delays. Advice to management: Do not issue written offers if headcount approval isn’t confirmed. Candidates make real, irreversible decisions based on written offers. Rescinding without explanation after a candidate has declined competing opportunities is not acceptable recruiting practice.
