I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Crane & Co. (New York, NY) in Sep 2019
Interview
Had two over the phone interviews, (initial screening interview that I passed and then a follow up interview with the new director who would've been my supervisor) Both interviews went really well and I was really excited to be progressing along. The interview with the director ended with an ask to meet me in the office. Then came 2 months of me reaching out and scheduling/re-scheduling, only to have the confirmed meeting times canceled, then the HR person leaving, then just never hearing back from the director that relayed the message of the HR person leaving... Over-all for me it was such a disappointment for a role that I was quite excited about and a mark on the company that I don't think I'll personally ever get past.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crane & Co. (North Adams, MA) in Mar 2016
Interview
I talked with some people and it was a very normal interview. It went very well. Then, however, they asked me to take some "skills" tests... Which was said to be "easy math, proof reading, WPM tying and Indesign" firstly, it was on a PC, none of them were times except the typing test. But the math test was completely ridiculous, 36 questions of long division, I was not provided a calculator. The spelling/grammar and proofing test was about 7 pages, and the Indesign test was very simple. The whole interview took about 2-3 hours, which I felt was abnormally long.
I came in for initial interview with office manager and then was brought back for interview with executive I would be supporting. Your basic interview questions. Strengths and weaknesses....how you would certain situations. The office manager talked more about herself than anything.
