I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Kokomo, IN) in Apr 2015
Interview
Overall an easy going interview. The manger was very kind (but he is no longer there) and professional. After you are hired you go through a series of computer training courses about ethics and the things you will do on the job. There are several acronyms that they will expect you to remember. Depending on location, you will have to learn a seating program using a main computer and iPads which is fairly simple if you have basic knowledge of a smart phone.
Quick conversation about my experience - I had none. Ended abruptly when the manager needed to return to the kitchen. I got a call roughly two weeks later. I would not work there again.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Texas City, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
Very nice manager who interviewed me and he asked questions that were reasonable for the position I was trying to obtain. I did not end up working at that establishment, but it left a good taste in my mouth.

Interview
it was fine ,feels like your talking to a friend but it was a short interview process ,half way through they said they hired someone for the position so it was a waste of time
