The initial interview for this company made me want no further contact with the company. After applying online, I was contacted for an in-person interview. I arrive at the interview, and they ask me to fill out a sort of application, which I did. When I got into the interview, the interviewer explained a little bit about the company - it's not so much of an advertising company for different products, but it does advertise one product: FW1 Racing Formula, which is a car wax. From what I can tell, you set up booths advertising the product. After a 45 second description of the job and company, he said this was a "very preliminary interview" where they wanted to put the "faces to the resumes," and barring any questions I might have, this concluded the interview.
I asked some questions, including whether the position I was interviewing for was salary, commission or a combination of the two. He said he couldn't discuss that until a later interview. Since I was fairly agitated by wasting my time with this non-interview, I asked for the salary range. Again, that could not be discussed until a future interview, but he assured me that it was "uncapped potential."
The office was small and very messy, with junk and papers littering the floor. The receptionist was very friendly, but the interviewer and overall office environment was extremely unprofessional.
