Straightforward and honest. Clear timeline given and responsive. Hiring manager asked good questions and seemed interested in background. Comp was fair and nothing out of the ordinary. In person round was a tad long

Interview
I had a disappointing interview experience with Courier Health. The initial recruiter conversation was positive and well-structured. However, the next stage felt much less like a formal interview and more like an information-gathering conversation.
Rather than focusing on my experience, accomplishments, and fit for the role, much of the discussion centered on people and internal dynamics at a previous company. There were very few questions about my recruiting background, approach, or expertise, and the overall tone felt more interrogative than evaluative.
The experience left me feeling that the conversation was not centered on assessing whether I was the right fit for the opportunity. Based on feedback I later came across, my experience did not appear to be isolated.
Advice to leadership: ensure interviews are structured around evaluating candidates, establish clear interview training and expectations for all interviewers, and keep candidate experience top of mind. These interactions shape how candidates perceive the company and employer brand.
the interview process was initially responsive, and the role itself seemed promising based on early conversation. After the screening call there were multiple instances of inconsistent and misleading information regarding next steps. Communication lacked transparency and I was told what was convenient in the moment rather than the truth.
