I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Markham, ON) in Sep 2011
Interview
I heard from a friend there was going to be a job fair at the new Costco that opened up in my area so I decided to give it a shot. When I arrived around 8 AM there were only a few people. The job fair was held in the vestibule of the store with management sitting at tables set up off to the side. I was interviewed immediately after filling out the application form. I was only asked a few simple questions. I think they were more interested in availability.

Question 1
What is one example of a time you had to go out of the way for something on the job?
I didn’t have much of an interview. I forced myself into a job here. They said they weren’t hiring and I gave them my resume. I received a phone call the next day and offered me the job. This was during peak Covid scare.
First a phone screening, just to get to know your availability and about the job. Then you schedule an in person interview. You first interview with two managers of different departments, and then you interview with the head manager. If you pass, you take the drug test and background check,
its hard to get an interview, You can either go up there or apply online and it seems like they rarely get back with you. your application is in limbo.
