Regular interview plus small numerical test. The main problem was, even they did call me for a 2nd interview, which of course I attended, the HR manager never showed up. After patiently waiting for half an hour, an assistant told me if we could reschedule and they never called me back.

Assistant buyer positions are almost always internal promotions from Inventory Control Specialists. Most Inventory Control Specialist positions are filled from employees that start working at the warehouse. Costco is big on having employees start from "the ground up" so there is an understanding of how the business works at the warehouse level.

Tenure within the company is critical. They are looking for initiative, previous leadership and teamwork experience. You must be able to provide examples that prove that you have the ability to teach.
