I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Corning (Winston-Salem, NC) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy. The two gentleman were very friendly and happy to share their experiences about Corning. These men seemed to genuinely believe in the work that they did. They asked a combination of behavioral and technical questions. I really enjoyed talking with the recruiters and am excited to hear back. (At this point I have not heard back but the interview was recent.)
Two zoom calls with the department you applied for. Walking through resume and asking about projects or past internships. behavioral questions on why corning and why this field. Last round with your future potential mentor.
I applied through university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Corning (Painted Post, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
It was good overall, but the hiring manager took about 6 weeks to get back to me on whether or not I got the position. I applied for like 30 positions over two years and got the one, so it was kind of stressful.
