The interview was conducted virtually with the hiring manager for the Microsoft 365 Engineer position. The format included an introduction by the interviewer about the role and company background, followed by my self-introduction and a series of technical and scenario-based questions. The questions primarily focused on Microsoft 365, Exchange migrations, group management, Intune, Teams, and Active Directory.
While the discussion covered relevant technical areas, the delivery style felt more like a stress test than a professional evaluation. The interviewer frequently interrupted responses, corrected terminology in a condescending manner, and even made inappropriate remarks (e.g., suggesting I was “Googling” answers). This created an intimidating atmosphere that made it difficult to showcase my experience fully.
The process ended with an opportunity to ask questions about the role and Concentra’s tenant migration project, but overall the experience felt unbalanced, with more emphasis on the interviewer’s expertise than on evaluating my skills and fit for the role.
