Received email to the interview. Been invited for 1 hour interview. 1x HR + 1x DevOps + 1x SCRUM Person.
After 1 hour they told me that the position is TEMPORARY and to be made permanent after 1 year.
It was NOT stated in the job advertisement/description.
HR = MORONS! Avoid!
It was stated that they do it with all the positions because they had some "bad" experience in the past.
Not sure what that means but ultimately, they are bank.
When there is a crash on the Wall Street, people in temporary position will be fired first!
//
First time I was just about to walk out from the interview. I have somehow managed.
//
Note that there are 2 rounds. (because they cannot get all the people into the same room + they are afraid to re-schedule with the candidate)
//
Their infrastructure seems like a mess. (Legacy Centos 6, Windows 2008 kinda, around 18k servers)
+
It seems that they have an approval process for changes and they are moving slowly.
(It takes couple of moths to get permissions/access + firewalls opened)
//
The DevOps person and SCRUM person seemed fine + friendly
