I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Columbia University (New York, NY) in Jun 2013
Interview
Interview was easy. I presented my work, followed by Q and A. Then I had a conversation with the PI about the projects that I will be working on in the next few years. and I had lunch with a few of the lab members which was a great experience
Too many group, team, other directors interviews. Too slow decision process. I did 4 times presentations and waited for 7 months, however during this waiting time, I passed 5 years “policy” after graduation and because of that they said I am not qualified that position anymore.
