      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Colliers (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2017

      Interview

I was contacted in May of 2017 for a quick phone screen, and then called in the beginning of July 2017 to meet with HR. After the meeting with HR I was told that the company was secretly replacing the current person in the role and was trying to be sneaky, so I had SEPARATE meetings with 3 of the other team members (4 interviews in total, including HR) before I could progress. 3 weeks after the meetings I was contacted again by HR to complete a simple writing and grammar assignment by email. At this point I declined as this was way too extensive of a process for an entry level position with a salary $45,000-$50,000. I was also not a fan of the way they went about the hiring process behind the current employees back.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

They asked a few things, there was a big emphasis on marketing questions and Adobe knowledge. Each of my 4 interviewers asked pretty much the same thing, basic interview questions.
      Answer question

      Question 2

The writing assignments were mostly editing sentences and paragraphs for length and clarity. Some questions on basic editing in Microsoft Word.
      Answer question

      Question 3

The telephone prescreen included a few assessments to be done at your computer, behavioural assessments mostly.
