The interview process was painless and fairly quick. I was able to meet the team and determine if I fit. It felt comfortable to sit there and engage with the team, and I continued through the process.
I applied through university. I interviewed at CollegeCommunityCareer (Ann Arbor, MI) in Dec 2016
Interview
I applied via my college/university portal for recruiting, and sent the Executive Director an email with my cover letter and resume. In less than 8 hours of receipt of my email, we had a Skype interview set up to take place in less than two weeks. At the end of my Skype interview, I received an offer on the spot. After I received an offer, she guided me through applying for AmeriCorps funding and also recommended me for funding through my University (which i received). I loved how the process was fast (most companies, even small ones, take weeks or even months to respond to an application) and how the Executive Director was always willing to help guide me into successfully transition into the role which would be in the Houston, Texas Area (it would be my first time there). Pretty standard process.

Question 1
Please describe for me a past software project you have worked on.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CollegeCommunityCareer (Sugar Land, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
1st round- sat and talked with Executive Director. Very personable and engaging. Also very misleading. When asked about the after hours work that we might have to put in, the answer was very vague and not entirely honest. Put in A LOT of after hours work.
2nd round- mock presentation of a lesson. Again, at the time went very well. Was very engaging and enjoyable.
