interview with different people (team members) not one of them even a nurse that knows and understands the process of how the work process work. From scheduling phone interview to site interview was a mess. Required me to file sick leaves and Off days to accompdate the interview (though it's a gamble and we need to this). I am not really sure what candidate they are looking for this position in NJ where in all nurses looking for this job is either willing to drive short distances or/and work from home. So i give a benefit of a doubt if this is really an open position or they just interview experienced nurses to gather information so they can apply it to their current process, without an intention of really hiring one for the position.
Since i have prioritzed them over other offers, what i have realized that this company will treat applicants who are experienced as a threat esp if you mention you have plans on advancing your career and focused on career growth. They will think you will steal their positions.
Lessons learned: too good to be true salary offer on the initial contact with the recruiter- i should've considered this. Since this is a start up company, everything is a mess and they are still working on their process improvement and will use interviews to gather ideas and info.
Nothing wrong trying to apply to this company and attend their unorganized interview process, but be mindful that this will involve a great risk and you will invest time.
