Initial phone cal with HR. Discussed position, hours and salary requirements. They were hiring I believe 5 spots. Then phone interview with hiring manager for 30 minutes. Since my interview was on a Friday at 430 I figured I wouldn’t hear back immediately. Two weeks go by so I follow up and receive a rejection email. Then, the HR Manager emails back and let’s me know she made a mistake and didn’t mean to reject me and that I got lost and they dropped the ball. Mind you, I had stated I could only do eastern time hours. I agreed to go ahead with the final interview as they still wanted to interview me.
Final interview was over Ring Central on Friday. Went well. Today I emailed and asked for a timeline and was informed that they wanted the last spot to be for MT/PT. I have never had such a poor interview experience and I am just left speechless at the ineptitude. I understand mistakes happen, but had I been followed up with appropriately, I could have possibly had one of the eastern time positions.
