We apologize that you had a negative experience. You would be surprised at how many people can't remember which position they applied for so the question of "what position they applied for" ise apol designed for the candidate not the interviewee.
Also, we are in need of sales reps which is why we are actively recruiting. Every individual who gets into a leadership role goes through a training process therefore, it's an "in-training" position. We wouldn't be able to hire someone directly into an operations position without them fully understanding the company and the role. Our leadership training program has been very successful.
