Lengthy interview process. Standard start with the HR recruiter, 2nd interview with the hiring manager. It was then 2 weeks later that I had a 3rd interview with a panel of 4 people. Another 2 weeks pass and what I thought was the final interview with the hiring manager and the VP. Over the course of the next week I had 3 additional meetings/ interviews/ discussions with another VP, a phone call with just the first VP then a subsequent interview with the hiring manager and both VPs. I had informed the HR rep that I had received another offer and was concerned about the additional need for interviews that they kept asking for when I was advised that a previous one was the final. She stated that they were in the process of putting together their offer prior to the last 2 meetings and that the 2nd to last was to be just a meet and greet. I got the impression that they weren't sure about me, if I was a right fit or were having 2nd thoughts, despite me being very, if not overly qualified for the position. This cautionary decision making and another offer that came in had me having to choose between 2 and I chose to decline the late offer from MultiPlan. Overall most of the people that I spoke to were very pleasant and it seemed like it may have been a good opportunity.
