Clarion University interview questions

I was contacted via phone for a phone interview to be done the very next day. The questions were altogether very straightforward: why would you want to work here, what is your biggest strength, etc. The interview itself lasted a total of about 30 minutes. The director and the secretary of the department were present for the entire interview and they were all very cordial and considerate. No mean or catty questions were asked and no answers of the same nature were present, either.

Phone interview by a committee first. Then an in-person interview by the same committee. Almost all the questions were behavioral...how did I react to this or that. Great committee and great questions; however, not giving the interviewee an opening to talk freely about themselves doesn't allow for extra information to come out spontaneously that I felt was important
