I applied online. I interviewed at Clair (NY) in Sep 2025
Interview
Recruiting screen, call with VP of product, take home case study, FULL day in-office super day. This was by far the worst experience and it’s not because of any of the interviews - those were all great - it was the post-super day ghosting that really hit hard. They expect you to complete a one week take home where they ultimately seem to be poaching candidates for ideas. After “passing” the case study, you are then scheduled for a full day in their office to take part in a super day. Back to back to back interviews - it’s demanding and intense. This is where things went south - was told I’d hear back within the week, normal. After the week passed, I sent a follow up, no response. Another week passes and I sent another follow up - ghosted. How can you feel ok as a company WASTING people’s time with NO COMMUNICATION?? I imagine they aren’t ghosting the partners they are trying to onboard. In today’s day and age, it’s pretty simple to send a follow up copy and paste generic email. Nope. Nothing. Run far and fast away from Clair. Companies who can’t communicate to outside candidates spending a lot of time interviewing are no company any normal human should want to work for. Trust me, don’t even try to go down this path.

Interview
Got an interview with Clair and was really excited about the role. The interviewer was really nice but literally did not ask me any questions...she just spoke about the company the entire time. At the end she said she wasn't asking me anything because she read my resume and Linkedin and didn't need more context and that I'd be moving to the next round. Lo and behold, I was not moved onto the next round and was actually ghosted. Surprise!
From application to the end it took around 3 months. After multiple rounds of interviews through HR, hiring manager and team members, I was told there would be next steps. But I never hear back and I follow up asking for an update. Only then did I get a response saying they decided not to move forward. Don't understand why a company would ghost you after going through multiple rounds.....you can simply send a templated email out. From the other reviews here seemed to be a good thing I didn't go further!
