I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Citadel Securities (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2020
Interview
Contacted via campus recruiter for my university. One initial phone round with 2 quantitative questions, one final round with 4 separate interviews ranging from IMO-style to programmatic. Had a good experience overall, some of the interviewers seemed a bit unhappy to be a part of the process, however.

Interview
Pretty interesting with a few brainteasers (dealing with unknown information and get a rough estimate about them ) and a probability question. Both are pretty easy but I messed them up.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citadel Securities in Sep 2025
Interview
Had a referral but had a ~30 min OA + 2 rounds of 45 min of mainly technical + in person super day (that I didn't reach). Was pretty standard for a quant trading interview. They were very responsive.

Question 1
They asked a weird betting game with unknown balls in a bag and unknown draws.
Overall, they were responsive and happy to interview. My interviewer was really nice and the problems were fun to tackle. Although I was rejected it was a good experience overall.
