I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chilton Medical Center (Pompton Plains, NJ) in Jan 2025
Interview
it took about three weeks for me to receive a phone call from a recruiter after applying online. Afterwards I received a message that same day asking for my time availability to schedule an interview. During the interview I met with the two charge nurses who asked me questions about any previous work experience and why I wanted to work as a PCT. They than gave me a tour of the unit and explained the essential duties of the job. I never received an email or call back, even after directly asking for an update.

Interview
I applied during a Corporate-wide Job Fair with Atlantic Health Systems, pretty standard. Signed up online. Arrived. I spoke with a Human Resources representative. Met with several different unit managers to discuss background and skills. Received tentative offers during the job fair. Then I waited a fairly long time to hear from Human Resources for a formal job offer.
