I got an email with a link to interview about a month after I applied. I thought it was weird that I had zero HR prior to getting an email to schedule. I scheduled my interview and when I arrived I was asked if I was told to prepare a presentation. I said no, I wasn't aware of anything and so she moved on with the interview. It was challenging as their process wasn't what I was expecting. We reviewed a lot of hospital data and I was asked to give my thoughts or what I would do. I think it is great to do, but would have been great to get a heads up as I'm used to solely behavioral interviews, but loved that this was more practical.
Turns out, I got a call later that day with the recruiter calling to reschedule and I told her I already had the interview earlier that day. She preceded to tell me that she was out of office and one of her colleagues sent out the link without all the additional information telling me that I was supposed to prepare a presentation. It was really frustrating to know that I went to an interview unprepared and not from my own lack of preparation.
I followed up with the recruiter on if I could get the additional information and prepare something like the other candidates. She ghosted me.
