I had an initial phone screen, followed by an interview with a manager, and then an interview with a director. I received an offer and tried to negotiate the salary. My offer was then immediately rescinded. This isn't an issue for me, but I say this as a WARNING to anyone that is looking at the good reviews of this company. DO NOT negotiate salary, or you will not get the job. Take what they give you and move on. Although the company touts itself as being Kingdom Minded, some of the people do not embody this core value of theirs. It is industry standard to negotiate salary and most people will tell you that the worst they can say is "no". In my situation, the worst they can do is RESCIND your offer. I went through the trouble of memorizing every single core value that this company had, and after this took place, it was stuck in my mind how this decision was completely misaligned with those. As a bigger slap in the face, they posted the same job for 10k MORE the day after they refused to negotiate with me. What's funnier is that a major portion of this job has to do with negotiation, so it's a bit ironic that my offer was rescinded because I wanted to negotiate. But alas, I forgive them because that is the Christian thing to do.
Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
