The first round was a behavioral interview, the recruiter called for a phone screen and asked 5-6 questions. I did not hear anything from them for a month and found out that I was rejected. The behavorial interview was not bad
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Center for Open Science in May 2016
Interview
The interview was fairly linear. They set up a 10 minute basic call and then a tech screen where we went over basic coding ideas and some of my background. The interviewer was fairly nice and seemed interested in figuring out if I was a good fit for the company culture. They were also very informative about the company dynamics and day to day work environment.

I talked with a COS employee at my university's career fair, then I applied online. I had a two phone interviews: behavioral and technical. The behavioral interview was 15 minutes long, and the technical interview was 45 minutes long. They were both very relaxed. Afterwards, I had to send in three references, who were all contacted.
