Answered ad on trade publication. Was contacted within a couple of weeks. First interview over the phone, then was asked to go in and met with division director and others. Gave a presentation on the topic of my PhD dissertation. Was contacted again a month later to discuss salary requirements. Negotiations were rather swift (a few days), received offer a week later
