Cathay Financial Holding interview questions

There were a total of three or four interviews (I can’t quite remember), all conducted online. One of the interviews required preparing a portfolio presentation. At the time, there were no design exercises, but colleagues who joined later mentioned that the interview process had changed. Later stages mainly focused on culture fit, with many senior leaders from different departments attending as observers. During the portfolio presentation interview, I was frequently asked about my views on communication, particularly on handling conflicts and reconciling differing opinions. Lack of financial knowledge wasn’t a major issue, but interviewers tended to have concerns about candidates with no prior exposure to the financial industry, worrying that they might find the field uninteresting and leave shortly after joining.
