Very simple interview process for sales. One phone call with the recruiter then one with management. After that you get a decision. The decision took about a week to hear back from the recruiter.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Cars.com in Feb 2025
Interview
Five+ rounds of interviews just for them to pull the position off the market completely. Interviews were standard with each person except the last person wanted it to be a conversation, so we talked candidly.

Question 1
Kept asking me if I actually wrote my own content across each interview. Also had me do an extensive writing sample and video sample. Ultimately, I was told that they decided not to hire either candidate (myself and one other person) because they were going to start the entire process over. I gave it a good run, I suppose.
Debugging web page, general behavioral questions -- pretty easy. Study up on flexbox, HTML and CSS. Round 1 is your typical HR call, while Round 2 is a bit more technical. Conceptual, nothing crazy difficult.
