I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital.Com (Sofia, Sofia (city)) in Apr 2025
Interview
I've applied online and like others said, they provided me with a link to "TestGorilla" tests, which I had to do for around an hour. Then HR concacted me for a short call of 20-30 minutes with basic questions. The next step should have been a technical interview with two people, but I received a standard "chatGPT" email that they thank me for the interest in that's it. I asked for any feedback from their side, but they didn't reply anymore. "So professional"
Had a call with HR, followed by a 45-minute test on the GorillaTest platform. Then, a 2-hour technical interview with live coding based on a business case.
Next was a cultural fit interview, where the manager told me I was a great fit and that I was essentially in. However, they unexpectedly scheduled an additional cultural fit interview—despite initially saying the first one would be final. The questions were not what I expected (even though I had asked HR in advance), and they mostly revolved around whether I had experience with all kinds of Storybook integrations.
The next day, I received a generic email stating they had decided not to move forward—without any feedback, despite having gone through five interview stages. Ironically, they did ask for my feedback on the process. Overall, not a great experience.
