      Consultant Interview

      May 12, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capgemini Invent (London, England) in Mar 2022

      Interview

We all know that Consultancy recruitments are excruciating and tedious, and yet we all go for it. I was absolutely thrilled about interviewing with Capgemini. The process took me almost 2 months. First, screening call. Then I had 2 online interviews, which went well, and then a Talent Selection Event, which was the end of the process. First thing that went wrong: they assigned me a Consultant, in charge of my process. I emailed her for her advice for the interview (as it was stated I could do in the email I got from them), but never got an answer. Second thing, all the time, after each round, it was me the one reaching out to the company to know the next steps. But to be fair, they called inmediately afterwards, and I got good feedback. But after the Talent Selection Event, they said they'll get back to us in one week. But they didn't. So, as usual, I emailed them, only to found out the people I had been talking to had left. I forwarded the email as instructed, and only then I found out they weren't moving forward with my application. And then, after all the time and preparation I put into this, I wanted to know what went wrong, so again, I wrote them. I got no answer. I understand the huge amount of people applying, but I think is the bare minimum to explain why you didn't get the role, especially after you were "observed" doing group tasks. I was shocked to learn that I didn't get the job if indeed it was only how I worked in group projects, but even more in shock when I found out non of the candidates in my group got an offer. I felt we were working very well. I honestly just want to know how to improve.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Capgemini Invent (Issy-les-Moulineaux) in Mar 2026

      Interview
