After you upload your resume and submit your application, they are going to start the 2nd part of the 5-stage interview. The process is very very long, and they ask like +50 questions in that stage alone. You are going to spend a day at least to pass that stage, so it is a complicated process.

Question 1
Documentation experience and insight, Software experience, Leadership and professional engagement, Education, and Canonical in context related questions (around 50 questions).
the most useless process ever. took about 2-3 months you pass many steps and at the end one crazy person who does not like you reject you with an irrational reason.

Question 1
what is the difference between technical author and technical writer
I applied online. I interviewed at Canonical (Germany) in Jun 2025
Interview
Very long and tiresome and in the end rejection. The reason for the rejection according to the HR - lack of experience, which they knew already after seeing my resume and cover letter. I feel like I wasted lots of time for nothing
Long and tedious. They make you write a ton, jump through a bunch of hoops, take several tests and then deny you after 30+ hours of time. While I understand the need to make sure you find good candidates, they act like they are something beyond any other job you could ever hope for, but offer nothing in return, no high pay, expected long hours of working etc.
