As many have observed, the interview process here is both arduous and arbitrary. It is a lot of effort The initial written interview is fine - I put together 30 pages or so for that. However, I am not sure that many people actually read the submission. Then you do a kind of IQ test, in which I scored 99% percentile (if you do this, ask the HR person for the full results - the HR here are good guys). A personality test follows. It is very short and I am not sure that it actually yields any useful information other than guesses. I then did two technical interviews with good people and at the end of each I asked how they felt it went and was told very well. HR interview followed. They won't give you any salary range - you have to say what you want. Given the number of interviews and test by this stage, then I think that isn't quite right, but it is what it is I guess. HR told me that so far everything was "positive to very positive, Next an interview with a person that I would be somewhat collaborating with. Interesting interview and once again I was told that it was a positive result. However, I then had to wait for 8 days for the next person to be available. This person then arrived at the online interview a little late (OK,. just a few minutes but hey!) This person was possibly the least engaged person I have ever interviewed with. Basically he had come with his mind already made up and I feel that he basically was protecting his own position and did not want me intruding on his importance. If this guy had a personality, he kept it well hidden. I could not get the man to engage and he basically just parrot read some pre-written questions, didn't listen to what I said, and would not give any feedback. The problem with this interview process is that it is not any kind of aggregate. One person in the long chain can halt the whole thing. Had I received an offer, I think that this person would have caused me to reject it anyway. Given his job function, that is a sad indictment on the company. Given that they place a lot of emphasis on taking the "IQ" test, then that should count for more than one random interview in the process. Otherwise, why bother having people do those tests? Do the interviews first! I felt that they wasted an awful lot of my time by doing the interview process the wrong way around. It's out of sequence and too "clever" for its own good. Do not waste your time applying here. Honestly, I wish I had taken that advice myself. Most of the people who have longevity there, would not pass this interview process, and they have no idea how to interview anyone.
