I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Canonical
Interview
The interview process seemed laborious from the start, and I heard quite a bit of a stir about the company’s process, but I just wanted to lay out my thoughts on the process.
The first step, they expect you to essentially write an essay, full of poor grammar, asking really generic questions. I understand they get a lot of applicants, plenty of other companies won’t make candidates jump through this many hoops.
After writing my 700 word paper, I was asked to complete an IQ and Personality test, I still don’t understand why this was necessary, especially before ever speaking to any representatives with the company. I reluctantly did it, but after, my candidacy was rejected without any clarification as to why.
I feel like my time was wasted for no reason.

Question 1
achievements you consider exceptional, at high school or university + some other questions relating to the field.
No bad comments at all, it was overall a good and fair interview process. The written interview is a little tedious though and it is honestly a very long process.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Canonical in Jan 2025
Interview
The process was lengthy and disrespectful, spanning over two months, only to end in rejection. It began with resume screening, followed by a written test covering over 20 questions, ranging from high school knowledge to work experience. Next was a psychometric test to assess aptitude, and then a DevSkiller programming test with two coding questions. I was scheduled for three interviews focused on operational skills, Python skills, and general skills. Additionally, I was assigned a separate task to analyze and understand unfamiliar code involving Juju, Charms, and LXD.

Interview
Interview process was time consuming just to send a rejection later.
Very worst interview
Didn't had face to face interview during the whole one month interview process
no point of asking about school marks and school achievements if they need someone strong in technical
