So, they are starting a new plant in Indiana, US, and will be starting up there after their plant in TX, USA.
Round 1: HR/Recruiter interview for 1 hour with general questions, why looking to leave current role, why canadian solar etc.
Round 2: Hiring Manager interview (Scheduled for one hour): Started normally as related to my experience, as I hold similar experience. But 5 minutes in I realize the interviewer is trying to put me down and being subtly condescending, which was a major, major red flag. He asked me 'Do you even know what technology you are working on, lol' and when I answered, he shifted back to why I was planning on leaving my current company (which I had no reason to actually). After answering all the questions thrown at me, I could see that the interviewer was genuinely trying to put me down, which is why I lost interest and showed my disinterest in the role at the 30-minute mark. I asked general interview questions and then exited.
MAJOR RED FLAG manager for the Indiana, US plant.
