I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cairn Housing Association (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Sep 2024
Interview
Interview process is not Neurodiverse friendly.
MS Teams panel interview, addiction 10 minutes with team members after, as one could not connect to meeting this become 2 separate 1 hour plus sessions over 2 different teams meets, equating to more than 2 hours of candidates time over and above expectations set by Cairn.
I was that the lead interviewer would contact candidates in a reasonable time frame, received generic email from HR group mailbox 4 days later than longest estimate given interview, email did not even include my name and no feedback was provided, essential for neurodiverse candidates. See snippet below:

Interview
The Application stage was heavy in written examples requiring a paper pack to be sent out to your address, felt a bit behind the times with some of the questioning criteria and the paper exercise. Interview stage was with 3 individuals - HR, head of business services and head of business improvement - The HR delegate and head of business services were incredibly professional, polite and I rate them highly in terms of overall capability, people skills and also for being good brand ambassadors. The business improvement head seemed pretentious and aloof throughout the interview, distinct lack of people skills and emotional intelligence, his style and capability were both very poor, something that could quite easily put people off joining the organisation. Very little in terms of communication through the process and could definitely be improved. The biggest piece of feedback I have is around the job spec - they didn't mention a key component of the role regarding 'mobilisation' - this was heavily questioned on within the interview but never mentioned in the initial spec or job posting.

Question 1
Several questions based around the planning and implementation of mobilisation along with software integration.
